December 2016 GAMDRUP + RØNHOLT

EXHIBITION
MADS GAMDRUP (DK)  – NOISE – photography
Mads Gamdrup takes the photographical medium to its limit. Searching for its strength as artistic statement – the abstract materiality of the motif – colour and light. Gamdrup challenges our senses. His beautiful abstract colour compositions forces the observer to seek for definition and recognition. Perhaps you will find a meaning in the NOISE?

SØREN RØNHOLT (DK) – CAMILLA II – photography
Søren Rønholt creates a photographic paraphrase of the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi’s (1864-1916) work. Rønholt plays both with light and space. His digital photographic approach creates a certain contemporary expression. Rønholt captures his own melancholy, stagnation and alarming atmosphere. CAMILLA II are strong, simple portraits of a woman – painted with a camera.

The exhibition is on view until January 7th, 2017
