GURLI ELBÆKGAARD (DK) – ceramics
Gurli Elbækggard is challenging the landscape. Green mash hiding in the shadows of the forest. Huge waves smashing into the rocks. Craters, holes and hills. The bulged surfaces. The vibrant colours. Organic sculptures balancing between symmetry and chaos. The unruly nature meets a tight classic ceramic grip. Elbækgaard creates a strong original idiom.
SØREN RØNHOLT (DK) – photography
Søren Rønholt’s photographies show the fragile landscape. The balance between the land and the sea. An ever changing border. Not a line. But a constant moving zone. An extended place, always disappearing and re-appearing. A place with a certain rhythm. A place which reminds us that we are part of the Earth’s circuit. A place with edge resonance.
Both artists, Elbækgaard and Rønholt, will be present at the opening.
The exhibition is on view until December 8th, 2018
