INSIGHT – exhibition June 2020

Saturday, June 6th 2020 – from 11am to 2pm.

You are cordially invited to the opening of the new exhibition at VÆG.

Solo: RIKKE JACOBSEN – paintings

Featuring:

LAURA FAURSCHOU mirror objects

TINA TRAMP – ceramics

Rikke Jacobsenstrives to understand the human mechanisms through animals. The characteristics of the animals reflect human behavior – it is all about love, courage, self-assurance, anxiety, control and personal development. The paintings are a mix of great detailed, naturalistic figures and more roughly, intuitive strokes. This creates a certain tension – vibrant paintings exploring the human nature – the stereotypes, our commonalities and the diversity – our individual dreams and ways of living.

Laura Faurschouis playing with us. Her mirror objects do not reflect a real portrait of the person looking into it, instead they create fragments of a much larger abstract image. It is a reformed way of experiencing the space around you and yourself in the space. You might become a transformed persona. How do you look at yourself?

Tina Tramp lives in the middle of Mother Nature. Her raw ceramic sculptures are poetic concentrates of textures, tones and forms found here. Man is a landscape. The landscape is human. The sculptures by Tina Tramp are reflections of moods, feelings and character. She reminds us that there is always something, which is greater than ourselves.

The exhibition is on view until July 11th 2020

We look forward to seeing you.

Kind regards,

Lars Bonde
