From her last endeavour into the wilderness of the plant kingdom; Iben Toft Nørgård brings back these curious and hitherto unknown specimens, for us to gaze upon in bewildered excitement. What are these creatures actually? And where do they belong?

”Insecta a Regno Vegetabili” replicates the format known from Natural History Museums and thus appropriates legitimacy to its content. But the creatures inside the display are purely fictional, a product of the artists mind, all made from delicate cuttings of floral illustrations skilfully glued together.
